About the day

We have 2 coaches ready to pick-up you party people from Waterloo Place at 12.15pm. The coaches need to leave at 12.30pm – please don’t be tardy as latecomers will not be admitted!

Unfortunately the only way to get to the ceremony is by coach – no cars sorry! The car park is miniscule and as it is a Historic Scotland site and still open to the public, there’s no way to guarantee you’ll get a parking spot. On the upside, you can enjoy a drink!

 All going well, the ceremony kicks off at 1.30pm when we plan on declaring our undying love for one another, for a full half hour #bunnies4life

After the serious bit is over (and if it’s not raining), it’s time to pop the corks and drink some prosecco on empty stomachs whilst every so often being bossed about by photographers – huzzah!

At 3pm, the coaches will whisk you away to the After Party.

You’ll arrive at Thomas Morton Hall at 3.30pm ready to enjoy some canapés and more prosecco! Eat loads of canapés. (Seriously, we’ve bought loads, and they’re bloody delicious).

At some point before dinner, there will be speeches and ribbings galore.

Dinner made by the excellent Giuseppe Manzoli will be served at 5:30 pm.

Please let us know which main you would prefer when you RSVP and tell us of any allergies so we don’t kill you…that would put a damper on things.

Also, if you don’t fancy any of that, Dolphin Fish & Chip Shop is around the corner and rated not too badly on Google reviews (4.1 stars at the time of writing).

Kick off your high heels (you too boys) and hit the dance floor #partyhard

We have a cracking bunch of Napier music students playing to delight your ears and inspire your killer dance moves (as seen in Footloose and Risky Business).

A buffet will give you the energy to keep going at 10pm #partyharder

Sadly, you’re getting kicked out at 12.30am whereby you’ll stumble out on the set of Irvine Welsh’s Trainspotting and realise we’ve stranded you in the middle of Leith #goodluckgettinghome
